Student-Athlete and Snowsport Partners
NYSEF, a “Gold Certified Club” by the US Ski and Snowboard, the national governing body of skiing and snowboard competition, has a long-standing partnership with Northwood School which provides a full-year academic opportunity for student-athletes in Lake Placid. The Northwood Alpine Ski Team, Freeride and Nordic members are a part of the NYSEF program.
Another option for student-athletes to pursue their snowsport while continuing their academics is the NYSEF Winter Term Program. In this program, student-athletes continue in their home school’s academic curricula remotely while training with NYSEF. There are 5 unique terms available beginning November through March.
Venue Partners
Since its beginning, NYSEF has since grown to include 7 disciplines, 5 training venues, and over 600 athletes, some of whom have competed in the Winter Olympic Games. Check out our home training and racing venues, here.
