NYSEF is excited to announce their partnership with The IRONKIDS Lake Placid 70.3 fun run (fun run).  NYSEF will be assisting with registration and executing the fun run on Saturday, September 9 on Mirror Lake Drive (801 Mirror Lake Drive in Lake Placid) at 10:00AM. The fun run offers young athletes the unique opportunity to feel the excitement of competition while enjoying the outdoors in beautiful Lake Placid and promoting healthy living.  Parents, family, and friends are encouraged to cheer on the racers during this family-centered event.

As a reminder, the fun run is geared toward ages, 3 to 13 with race distances of one (1) mile and a half (.5) mile. The price to register is $20.00 which includes a race bib, finisher shirt, medal, goodie bag and the pride of calling themselves an IRONKID. The goodie bag is available for pick up during registration.

Registration will be at Lake Placid Conference Center (2634 Main Street, Lake Placid, NY) on Friday September 8 from Noon to 7:00PM and on Mirror Lake Drive (801 Mirror Lake Drive, Lake Placid NY) on Saturday, 9 from 8:00AM to 9:30AM. On Sunday, September 10, NYSEF will be hosting an aid station on the run course of the IRONMAN 70.3. We invite you and your family to volunteer! NYSEF will be running Run Station #2 – Cascade Rd. There are two-time slots for volunteers to choose: 8:00AM to NOON and NOON to 4:00PM. The aid station is located off Cascade Road near Big Slide Brewery and Public House (5686 Cascade Road in Lake Placid).
