NYSEF/Northwood is excited to be participating in a virtual bike ride (run, walk) in support of the Kelly Brush Foundation (KBF). Traditionally, NYSEF would be riding in the KBF Ride this time of the year but due to COVID-19, the ride was changed to a virtual event and we want to continue our support. The details can be found below:

Belleayre to Whiteface Ride: A virtual ride (you also can run or walk) from Belleayre to Whiteface for a total of 260 + miles. We are asking families and athletes to join us sometime beginning Monday, September 7  –  September 19*  and ‘take a leg’ either on the road, in the trails or on a stationary bike, do 5 miles or 50 miles or more! Even if you are not directly on the route, you are participating! How to get started:

  1. Join our Strava Club NYSEF Team and say “I’m in” on the Belleayre to Whiteface ride.
  2. Run, Bike and/or Walk along the route between September 7 – September 19 (or ride anywhere, even on a stationary bike and translate “virtually”  your mileage onto our route).
  3. Upload your activity on our Strava Club NYSEF Team
  4. Share your ride and Support KBF! Share your ride on social media by tagging @nysefsnowsports and @kellybrushfoundation and make a donation at any level through this link. Encourage others to donate! Funds raised support protective alpine race equipment such as b-net. For those who cannot do an activity, please consider donating to KBF through this link.

*coaching staff are scheduling in-person rides so check your email for updates!
