Ski Jumping in Fox River Grove, IL

The NYSEF Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined team traveled to Fox River Grove, IL for the annual Fall competition put on by the Norge Ski Club. We had two solid days of training, in which U12 athletes, Mitchell Penning and Jack Kroll took their first jumps on a 70 meter hill!

In the competition on the K25, Jack and Mitchell placed first and second!

There were two days of competition on the K70. Bryce Kloc took the win on Saturday and placed second on Sunday.

The ski jumping crew will be in action on the 6^th and 7^th of October for our annual Flaming Leaves competitions on the K20, K48, and K90 here in Lake Placid. For more information on the Flaming Leaves Festival, click here.
