NYSEF ski jumping and Nordic combined has been on the road the past two weekends. Athletes of all ages traveled to Salisbury, CT, where the U10 boys picked up podium sweeps on the K20 and K30 hills. Max Fey (Keene Valley) and Eli Larkin (Plattsburgh) traded spots on top of the podium, with Charlie Fox taking second on both hills. The U10 girls also had two podiums, with Kai McKinnon (Lake Placid) and Emma Morrow (Morrisburg, Ontario) taking 1st and 2nd on the K20.

On the K65, Tate Frantz  (Lake Placid) and Sean Maloney (one of NYSEF’s Winter Term athlete) took spots on the podium both Saturday and Sunday.

The following weekend the older athletes traveled to Brattleboro, VT to compete on the K90 in the final US Cup event of the year. Tate Frantz, Bryce Kloc (Clifton Park), Cameron Forbush (Norwich, VT), Jack Lawrence (Lake Placid), Elise Loescher (Burlington, VT), and Caroline Harrison (Lyme, NH) all competed and gathered experience going against the best U20 athletes in the country.

Tate Frantz, Bryce Kloc, Cameron Forbush, Jack Lawrence, Sean Maloney, Elise Loescher, and Caroline Harrison all qualified for Junior Nationals, which will be taking place in Park City, UT on February 27 through March 2.
