On Sunday, February 2, Moguls “B” athletes, competed in their final Empire States Games competition. The “B” level is designed for entry level skiers, 7 to 14 year old, though it is open to all age groups whereas the Moguls “A” level is designed for the older, more experienced athletes with the opportunity to qualify for national level events. During Empire State Games, our Moguls “A” skiers were competing at Stratton Mountain in the Rod Baird Memorial Challenge.

Athletes as young as 6 competed in the Moguls “B” competition and we were excited to cheer on these future rock stars down the course. Top NYSEF results are below:

Yvetta Hofrichter placed 1st for female under 7

Blake Glazier placed 3rd for males under 9

Alex Watts placed 11th for males under 11

Wyatt Stanclift placed 3rd for males under 13

Owen Stainken placed 11th for males under 13
