NYSEF: Loud and Proud at 2017 ESWG!

Once a year, all of our snowsport athletes come together to participate in the Empire State Winter Games, a weekend-long celebration of outdoor sport. It is the only time during our hectic season when our Freeride, Nordic, and Alpine athletes have the opportunity to compete in the same series, all together. We couldn’t be more proud of their participation and enthusiasm!

From Opening Ceremonies, all the way through three chock-full days of competition, NYSEF Athletes were Loud & Proud on their home turf, competing to their fullest and demonstrating great teamwork and sportsmanship.

From fireworks at opening ceremonies, to full-on sprints down the mountain, it was a truly incredible weekend for competitors and fans alike.

Because of their full participation, NYSEF and Northwood School competitors produced a record haul of hardware. We’ve tallied up the totals, and broken down the results by discipline. Take a look! Nicely done, athletes!
