There was little time to sleep this past month at Gore. A full event schedule and plenty of end of season parties kept everyone on their toes.

Here are some highlights from March:

  • Kandahar Champs, brought together to best U10’s and 12’s for a great weekend of racing
  • Evan Scriven first place in SG & GS
  • Lane Feldeisen second place in both SG & SL
  • Liz Mcintyre 8th place SG
  • Cate Glackin 11th place SG
  • U12 Future Stars
  • Sloan Ruhl makes 2017 FIS Junior World Championship Ski Cross Team (Valmalence, Italy)

Another great race to highlight is Future Stars. It brought close to 100 young athletes together for a fun filled weekend of skills and synchro skiing. It was an awesome way to end the season!

“I can not express my gratitude to you and your staff enough for an incredible weekend of Future Stars.”
-Kathy Okoniewski NYSSRA Youth Coordinator

As I sit here on March 28th typing this report, looking at yet another snow storm heading our way for the weekend, I can’t help but reflect on all the athletes, parents, volunteers, coaches and staff that have helped to make this season so successful. Thanks to each and everyone of you! Let’s hope this season never ends.
