A message from Executive Director, John Norton:

As 2017 comes to a close and 2018 begins, I want to commemorate how far NYSEF has come since its founding in 1973. NYSEF has and continues to provide educational opportunities and financial support for youth athletes pursuing a competitive path in snowsports. The program has grown to include over 400 young athletes competing at the regional and national levels while, at the elite level, including 11 NYSEF alumni who competed in the 2014 Olympics in Sochi. Many are gearing up for the 2018 Olympic Games.

With today’s ever-rising costs of winter sports, it’s more important than ever that we seek alternative sources of funding to keep our enrollment fees affordable, retain talented coaching staff and support individual athletes with their competition-related expenses.

NYSEF will continue to offer athletes of all levels the opportunity to participate in our programs with professional coaches, age-appropriate equipment, world-class training venues and many levels of national and international competition.

THANK YOU for your support – it MAKES A DIFFERENCE.

See you in 2018!

-John
