Fiscal Year End Message from Executive Director, John Norton
Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent NYSEF online auction and Golf Open. Despite not being able to celebrate together, we felt the sense of community and support from our members, families and friends.
As you are well aware, this year was like no other. Heading into a new season, our main priority is making sure we can be there for the athletes and families who need our support the most. Investments in our scholarship funds will help keep athletes in the sport by offsetting training and competition fees, allowing them to stay active, healthy, and pursue their snowsport dreams.
Amidst these challenging times, we recognize our community of supporters will always be our strongest asset. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed to NYSEF over the past year through financial donations, volunteer efforts and participation in our online and modified in-person events. Your passion for our organization is inspiring and your support – of all kinds – makes it possible for us to fulfill our mission.
Although the upcoming season will look a little different, our staff is busy planning and making sure it will be the best one yet for our athletes. Your ongoing support will help ensure that we can continue to be a leader in snowsports and provide the critical resources for all of our athletes to excel.
We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
-John
