Lake Placid, NY – December 12, 2018- The New York Ski Educational Foundation (NYSEF) Nordic athletes competed in the Nordic Fest in North Creek, N.Y. The NYSSRA 1.5K Sprint Race took place on Sunday, December 9 and local athletes received some impressive top 10 finishes to end the weekend.

In the men’s division, NYSEF athletes took over the top 10 with successful sprint finishes:

Kai Frantz (Lake Placid, N.Y.) placed 2nd

James Flanigan (Lake Placid, N.Y.) placed 4th

Michael Skutt (Lake Placid, N.Y.) placed 6th

Van Ledger (Lake Placid, N.Y.) placed 7th
