Head Freestyle Coach
Christopher Kasper is the Head Freestyle Ski Coach for NYSEF and Whiteface Mountain. He has worked with many of you as the Assistant Freestyle Coach through the winters of 2000-2003.
Prior to coming on board with NYSEF he spent time as a USSA athlete and Coach for Buffalo Ski Club in Colden, NY. During the winters of 2003-2006 He spent time acting as both a certified USSA sanctioned Judge and Technical Director for both USSA A and B competitions. During the winter of 2005/2006 he took on the role as an Assistant Freestyle Coach for Gould and Sunday River respectively. This year he is qualified as a Level two USASA and USSA Coach.
The goals for the team are to train for and compete in various USSA and USASA freestyle events including Slope Style, Aerials, Moguls, Skier Cross, Half Pipe and Free Ride.
NYSEF will be working very closely with Whiteface, ORDA, Northwood School, and National Sports Academy to finely tune some tremendous freestyle athletes. |
