The NYSEF Whiteface Alpine program is designed to provide athletes of all skill levels an opportunity to pursue their goals in ski racing built around the following objectives:

  • Provide and opportunity for young athletes to learn the joy of skiing and racing.

  • Provide a program focused on simplifying, developing and enhancing Fundamental and Advanced skills that will prepare athletes to progress to higher levels in the sport if they so chose.

  • Provide a program that gives every young athlete the opportunity to be their best, progress individually while improving as a team.

  • To meet the needs of every athlete that comes into our program from first year JV Weekend skiers to fulltime, 12 month a year, elite level JI and II athletes close to making the US or Canadian National teams.

  • To take a holistic approach; look at the big picture as well as the finite details, including conditioning, diet, equipment, technology and different individual learning styles.

  • Challenging young athletes at the appropriate time and in the appropriate environment providing these individuals with the opportunity to learn confidence through periodic successes

  • To teach our athletes life skills that will impact them their entire lifetime experiences both in sport and outside of sport.

The knowledge and experience shared by our staff consists of several decades of coaching at all levels from the regional New York State level right to the Olympic Games and World Cup.

NYSEF has a very proud history of producing some of the best ski racers in US history including National and International champions.  We are determined to continue this rich heritage.
