“The coolest thing was having national team members at the event along with people like me who only started competing in biathlon less than a year ago,” reports Ledger. “Also, I’m psyched that I shot 4 out of 5 in prone, the equivalent of shooting a 50 cent piece from 50 meters away. 4 out of 5 is my all time personal best.”

The event concludes the biathlon racing calendar for the season– a hugely successful one for US Biathlon, with Bailey and teammate Susan Dunklee winning medals at the World Championships and securing the first spots on the Team USA roster for next year’s Olympic Games, to be held in Pyeong Chang, South Korea.
